In 1936, Bruce Ulmer Sr. started a 2 bay service station right here on Salem Road. Seventy-five years, 4 generations and countless happy customers and vehicles later Ulmer's Auto Care continues to provide exceptional auto repair to Cincinnati and its surrounding communities. In 1981, Gregory Kauffeld, a full time mechanic at the time, purchased Ulmer's Sohio from Bruce Ulmer Jr. Ulmer's continued as a two bay service station until 1990 when Greg expanded 1 block east on Salem road and opened an additional 3 bays to expand the fast growing operation. In 2002, Bryan Kauffeld, Greg's oldest son, joined the business and Ulmer's was ready for yet another expansion. In 2003, Greg and Bryan expanded the Ulmer's tradition to the Milford area and opened a 5 bay facility at the Five Points in Milford. While honoring the history of superb service Cincinnati has enjoyed for over 75 years, Ulmer's Auto Care utilizes the most state of the art technology available to tackle all of your automotive repair and maintenance needs. From basic oil change service, to timing belt replacement, an automotive mechanic who honors the long-lasting Ulmer's Auto Care tradition is prepared to care for your car.
