Bryan Kauffeld, second-generation operator at Ulmer’s Auto Care Center, recently sat down for a conversation about what it takes to grow a family-owned auto repair business the right way. Bryan’s father opened our very first two-bay service station back in 1981, and today Ulmer’s proudly serves customers across 11 locations in Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.
In the episode, Bryan shares the philosophy that’s guided our growth from the very beginning: choosing locations based on the neighborhoods we can serve, not just the busiest roads. He also talks about what keeps customers coming back, from memorable first visits to giving our managers and service advisors the authority to take care of you like we would ourselves.
Before stepping into leadership, Bryan spent about 18 years working the counter at our Anderson Township location, so he knows firsthand what matters most to the people who trust us with their vehicles.
