I took my car to Ulmer's Auto Care in Montgomery and they did a great job. They were honest and completely transparent. They showed me and explained what they were doing. They even told me what I could do myself when it came to the Gasoline Direct Injection, so that I didn't have to pay to have it done. They have good business integrity and I would definitely use them again.

I wanted to thank the courteous staff. I needed a tire replaced and the staff was helpful and knowledgeable. I did think after my tire was replaced, I would have to put the spare back where it was stored. But know everything was done for me. That is service in my book. Cant emphasize enough how grateful I am to have been able to call and get a second opinion from these guys. Not only did they give me a quote within an hour, it was substantially less than the quote I received from the dealership. To top it off, they were able to diagnose what was actually wrong with my car against what the dealership wanted to do, saving me a cool grand.

I’ll try to make this short but these are the best mechanics I’ve ever met in my life. Clutch blew on my Subaru BRZ and they got me a tow and fixed it up in the (much) needed time frame to get me back on the road for work. Cannot thank you guys enough!!! I own two Volvos. I am a very dedicated Volvo enthusiast. I drive a third Volvo (Prevost) professionally. Ulmers takes care of Volvos with professional experience, pride and honesty. Easy , Upftont and no tap-dancing around car issues, fixes or costs, Ulmers has delivered every time with integrity. For me, they are my Volvo's trustworthy backstop in the Tri- Stare area.

The team at Ulmers did a great job. They didn’t have the specific filter that my car needed in stock but they ordered one and it was quickly delivered. They were very courteous made sure I could apply a coupon for a nice discount. I also enjoyed that their waiting room had a large window so you could see the work being performed.My previous car I took exclusively to the dealer to get work done because I thought I was covered by their lifetime warranty. Now that I have a new car and no stupid dealer supplied warranty, I’ll be taking my car here for all the routine maintenance.Following the repair work I received a few messages thanking me for taking my car there as well as a thank you card in the mail. It’s a small touch but shows they care more about their customers.

I just had them change oil after being impressed with Ulmer's Loveland location. Since Montgomery was closer to my house, I wanted to try out to see if they have same level of service or not. They did not disappoint me at all. Oil change was done quickly which included multi point inspections which is far more detailed report than you get from dealerships and people work there are professional, knowledgeable and kind. I can not stress that this is the place to be if you want to save money, have high level of service like dealerships. I will go here again for next oil change or any other maintenance. Thanks!

🙂 Thrilled to have found Ulmer's Auto Care in Montgomery to service Porsche Cayenne. Had car in Louisville and used local Louisville dealer but found the dealership prices very high and they always wanted to do a package of services. Tried one Louisville local shop but they could not get the warning lights off after completing the necessary service. This was NOT a problem at Montgomery Ulmer's! Service was completed and warning lights/messages shut off. The Cayenne is getting some years and mileage on it but now that we have Ulmer's to help us, we will probably hold on to the Cayenne longer. In addition to have confidence in the services performed, the office personnel, Jen, Jeffrey and Shea, were super to work with! A+++

This is a unique review because I want to give them 5 stars for as much as they did NOT do as they did do. They did do a great job fully evaluating my concern and bringing up a few items of note on the complimentary inspection. They did NOT push me to fix things that were still within mileage and acceptable limits, instead telling me how much more mileage and wear I had before any of those repairs would be recommended. Came away feeling informed and that I would come back to get my car serviced there again!

Ulmers completed routine suggested maintenance on a Mercedes GLC and only did what was needed, saving me a lot of $$$ while keeping my car in good condition. Very happy with their service and their team is very helpful and friendly.

I usually do as many mechanical repairs as I can. After replacing struts, control arms and lower control arms you need an alignment. I took my Honda Ridgeline in for that. They were able to get me in the next day. After alignment they test drove the truck. I received a text with photos of other areas of concern. No heavy handed sales pitch, just recommendations. I asked for a quote for replacing the front axles per their photos. A competitive quote and a quick appointment brought the truck back to them the next day. I noticed a shimmy at highway speeds and returned to the shop. Two mechanics worked diligently to diagnose the problem as missing wheel weights and an out of balance wheel. They took the truck on three test rides to assure the truck was right. There was no charge for the second diagnosis and wheel balance. Folks, that’s as good as it gets repairing a vehicle. I may change my habit of doing my own repairs.

I cannot thank Ulmer's enough for helping my wife and I through a difficult situation. Driving back to Kentucky from Boston, we broke down in OH and were towed to the Montgomery location late Sunday evening based on a recommendation from a friend that lives in Cincinnati. I called them at 7:00 a.m. Monday morning to let them know my truck was in their lot and we were stranded at a nearby hotel. They diagnosed the problem (bad starter), got the part over to the shop, and we were up and running at 11:00 a.m. They even picked us up at the hotel in their shuttle. Wonderful people and exceptional service!!!

I had an amazing time here! I was stranded in the area while on a job search over an hour from home and my usual mechanic. Called around and some how lucked into finding ulmers. The owner specifically helped me out in diagnosing the car. I had a double misfire and was not safe to drive home. He squeezed me in and got me looked at. Ultimately buying parts for a Saab requires that parts be shipped and it takes a while. So he hooked me up with a simple temporary fix and sent me on my way. He answered all my questions and showed AMAZING customer service. And the best part is I was broke 22 year old in a desperate situation rather than taking advantage they got me home safe for FREE. Now I’ve accepted a job and plan on moving near the area and I can’t wait to call them my new mechanics!
