I brought my 2013 BMW 328 x in for inspection of engine noise/timing chain/and other potential issues. All of my communications with the staff were professional and courteous. There was no hard sell or pressure to have multiple repairs done. A fair price was quoted for the problems found. Very good experience.

Great care. Great service! After having a really bad experience at another shop, I decided to take my truck to Ulmer’s for a second opinion. They were upfront, honest and true to their word. They saved me a lot of money and grief frankly. I plan on staying with them going forward.

I have an older RAV4 and it needed a lot of Work done… I am so happy that I found Ulmers… They are professional, kind, helpful… And not overly priced!! I highly recommend this location on Montgomery Road in Montgomery!!! Matt and Jen were so easy to work with and they answered all of my questions… And my car is running great! Thank you!!!

The communication was awesome, and my car’s Work was done efficiently. Unfortunately, when they called me to tell me my car was ready. I did not have somebody who could drive with me as everyone was at work and I was at the hospital visiting my family member. So Ulmer’s sent their shuttle to come and get me…. It was a huge help.

Fantastic experience here! Battery in my jeep died and I was quoted $1100 through the dealership. I called this place as it was the first place that popped up with good reviews and they got me in that day for half the price. They shuttled me to and from work so I didn’t miss a day either. Montgomery Ulmers does quality work at reasonable prices. I switched to them after Kings Toyota and Kings Subaru kept screwing up. Loose lug nuts, didn’t tighten the oil plug, etc. Now I use Ulmers and Donovan Blue Ash for all my car work. Never had an issue.

I take several cars for maintenance and repair work to Ulmer's Auto Care Center in Montgomery. Jenn or Mike keeps me informed of the progress. Information on findings is texted to me for my perusal. If a part is needed, they tell me accurately when it is due to arrive and when the vehicle will be ready to be picked up. I appreciate the good service that Ulmer's provides.

(May 2026)--Our most recent experience with Ulmer's was also very good. We got an oil change and transmission flush. They took pictures to compare to last time. They noticed a little oil around the gasket but no sales pressure to get it repaired immediately. Just keep an eye on it. Because they shared the pictures we can determine if or when to bring it in.Ulmer's offered a shuttle service which is greatly appreciated.Our experiences with Ulmer's has been very positive. Definitely recommend them.We took our car in for an oil change. We thought we might need a brake fluid service. After an inspection of the car, Ulmer's determined we did not need the brake fluid flushed. They gave pictures of everything they checked during the inspection.This is the second time we took our 2017 Honda Accord to Ulmer's. The first time a Dealership told us we needed a $1500 starter. We took the car to Ulmer's for a second opinion. After an analysis they determined there was a bad cell in the battery. Not the starter at all. All we were charged for was the inspection. Because the battery was under warranty we had it replaced were it was originally purchased.We were treated with honesty and respect at Ulmer's. Definitely recommend them for good work and honesty.

Took my fairly specialized European car with some scary issues to Ulmer’s as they have the talent and most equipment needed (vs just going to the dealership). Very professional engagement and reasonable diagnostics charge. Hit the point where a trip to the dealership was required and that’s perfectly understandable. I think that’s smart and good business practice. I take all of my family’s other vehicles there routinely. They always do a great job. Solid customer experience as well.

I scheduled a tire installation and showed up on time. I went to lunch and came back in 30 minutes. The car was almost ready! They offered to perform a full analysis of my car and offered a ride to my office while they did it. I could not be happier with their service! To top everything else, their tire pricing is competitive with that place you hear on the radio 10 times a day.
