I scheduled a tire installation and showed up on time. I went to lunch and came back in 30 minutes. The car was almost ready! They offered to perform a full analysis of my car and offered a ride to my office while they did it. I could not be happier with their service! To top everything else, their tire pricing is competitive with that place you hear on the radio 10 times a day.

Had a great experience! I needed a distance sensor recalibrated that another shop wasn't capable of doing. Ulmer's was able to do the work and they offered a loaner to get me around for the day. Jen was awesome, made it easy to set up my appointment, and she kept me up-to-date with all the progress. Highly recommend!

We took our car in for an oil change. We thought we might need a brake fluid service. After an inspection of the car, Ulmer's determined we did not need the brake fluid flushed. They gave pictures of everything they checked during the inspection.This is the second time we took our 2017 Honda Accord to Ulmer's. The first time a Dealership told us we needed a $1500 starter. We took the car to Ulmer's for a second opinion. After an analysis they determined there was a bad cell in the battery. Not the starter at all. All we were charged for was the inspection. Because the battery was under warranty we had it replaced were it was originally purchased.We were treated with honesty and respect at Ulmer's. Definitely recommend them for good work and honesty.

I own a older vovlo and Ulmers has a very thorough volvo tech. I've always done my own auto repairs because I'm particular. The tech did a great job at inspecting, finding things and showing the issues. Also the service rep was great and walked through everything. Ultimately we did not have them do the repairs, only because of the current age and value of the car. We'll be bringing our other cars back to ulmers for service.

🙂 Was so pleased when used Ulmer's Shuttle Service for latest service. The drivers Erin and Andy were so nice! Also thrilled to have found Ulmer's Auto Care in Montgomery to service Porsche Cayenne. Had car in Louisville and used local Louisville dealer but found the dealership prices very high and they always wanted to do a package of services. Tried one Louisville local shop but they could not get the warning lights off after completing the necessary service. This was NOT a problem at Montgomery Ulmer's! Service was completed and warning lights/messages shut off. The Cayenne is getting some years and mileage on it but now that we have Ulmer's to help us, we will probably hold on to the Cayenne longer. In addition to have confidence in the services performed, the office personnel, Jen, Jeffrey and Shea, were super to work with! A+++

They were great. Unfortunately my repair ended up being way more expensive than I had hoped. But they prevented catastrophic damage with their repair. And with a 4yr 48 000 mi warranty on their repairs, it gives you confidence in their work.

Chose Ulmer’s because it was local and has a very good reputation. The service department at my car dealership recommended some things that seemed questionable. Went to Ulmer’s for a second opinion. They recommended a much cheaper solution, got me in within 24 hours, and fixed the problem. Better service, less expensive and trustworthy. Pretty good combination! I won’t be going back to that dealership for service.

These guys are awesome! I was half way through a drive from Texas to Massachusetts when my old Lexus got a check engine light and a flashing warning. They connected up a scanner for me and gave me the code. They advised me what the code could be and then reset the warning for me. So very nice and friendly. I made it all the way to Massachusetts with no further problems! Thanks guys!!!

I live in Illinois, but decided to take my Subaru Crosstrek here for differential service when I was visiting family. I had a great experience and they pointed out some issues that need to be addressed. I had such a positive experience that I decided it was time for another Cincy visit to get those issues taken care of. Ulmer's techs have excellent knowledge of Subarus (and many other makes!) and great customer service. Pricing is very transparent and fair.

I have been in the automotive industry as either a mechanic or a manager for over 20 years. When my son was driving down to Cincinnati his jeeps brakes locked up. I took it to Ulmer's in Montgomery and I couldn't be more pleased. They didn't try to over sell anything. Addressed my concerns first and foremost and kept their word about completion time and price. Ulmers has got have some of the most amazing staff I’ve seen, truly dedicated to welcoming you into there “family” and treating you as more than a customer. Keeping you detailed throughout every step of repair process and even doing some slight “detective” work to identify issues with the car or its history.I’ve learned a lot from my experience with them and although I preform a lot of my own maintenance. I know there will be a time I can’t and I know where I’ll be going ❤️

Update to the original review below:My daughter's 2015 Cruze overheated again a few days ago. Once again, I had it towed to Ulmer's on Montgomery. They found that the radiator hose had come slightly loose and causing a leak. They repaired at no charge and drove it for several miles to ensure it did not overheat. Once again, exemplary customer service and professionalism.My daughter attends school at UC and we are in Columbus. She called me with her 2015 Cruze lighting up the dash like a Christmas tree and smoking out the hood like a chimney. As I frantically searched for a repair shop close by to have it towed to, I came across Ulmer's on Montgomery. This was a weekend so I had it towed there and the key placed in the drop. The beginning of this story is how most car repair stories end in horror. Not this story!! Christian from Ulmer's called me Monday morning, was immediately empathetic to my plight, and explained in exact detail how this process would go. I fully expected to be told I'd have to replace the engine, tranny, tires, seats, steering wheel, sunroof, and glove compartment. I fully expected to empty my bank account and 401K to repair this vehicle. What I did not expect was the level of professionalism and courtesy and honesty I received from Christian and Ulmer's. Absolutely superb service. He called me every step of the way, explaining what and why something needed to be done. Ulmer's email and text diagnostic reports are easy to understand and read with photos showing the problem. Turns out it did cost some money to replace the thermostat and some hoses and I was happy to pay it. My daughter and her friends will use Ulmer's going forward. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

The folks I dealt with at Ulmer’s were very polite and informative. I trusted their input and the quality of the work they did.The work I had performed was on the AC system and they had to move the car to another one of their locations to complete the work. It was not clear to me which location I had to pick the car up. That not a big deal but that communication could have been better.All in all, I would use them again.

I took my car to Ulmer's Auto Care in Montgomery and they did a great job. They were honest and completely transparent. They showed me and explained what they were doing. They even told me what I could do myself when it came to the Gasoline Direct Injection, so that I didn't have to pay to have it done. They have good business integrity and I would definitely use them again.

I did think after my tire was replaced, I would have to put the spare back where it was stored. But know everything was done for me. That is service in my book. Cant emphasize enough how grateful I am to have been able to call and get a second opinion from these guys. Not only did they give me a quote within an hour, it was substantially less than the quote I received from the dealership. To top it off, they were able to diagnose what was actually wrong with my car against what the dealership wanted to do, saving me a cool grand.

I’ll try to make this short but these are the best mechanics I’ve ever met in my life. Clutch blew on my Subaru BRZ and they got me a tow and fixed it up in the (much) needed time frame to get me back on the road for work. Cannot thank you guys enough!!! Easy , Upftont and no tap-dancing around car issues, fixes or costs, Ulmers has delivered every time with integrity. For me, they are my Volvo's trustworthy backstop in the Tri- Stare area.

The team at Ulmers did a great job. They didn’t have the specific filter that my car needed in stock but they ordered one and it was quickly delivered. They were very courteous made sure I could apply a coupon for a nice discount. I also enjoyed that their waiting room had a large window so you could see the work being performed.My previous car I took exclusively to the dealer to get work done because I thought I was covered by their lifetime warranty. Now that I have a new car and no stupid dealer supplied warranty, I’ll be taking my car here for all the routine maintenance.Following the repair work I received a few messages thanking me for taking my car there as well as a thank you card in the mail. It’s a small touch but shows they care more about their customers.

I just had them change oil after being impressed with Ulmer's Loveland location. Since Montgomery was closer to my house, I wanted to try out to see if they have same level of service or not. They did not disappoint me at all. Oil change was done quickly which included multi point inspections which is far more detailed report than you get from dealerships and people work there are professional, knowledgeable and kind. I can not stress that this is the place to be if you want to save money, have high level of service like dealerships. I will go here again for next oil change or any other maintenance. Thanks!
