Ulmers and Dave in Deer Park are great at quick turnarounds and most importantly I trust the service and recommendations they are providing. I need to take advantage of the free shuttle they offer vs paying for Ubers to and fro next time

OMG...I was so grateful and pleased with the respect, kindness and awesome service that I received from Deer Park Ulmer's and Dave.After leasing for over 20 years, decided to buy and was very leary being a single, senior female who knows nothing about cars. I was so thankful for the honesty, courtesy and care taken to make my car drive like new plus I had a "free loaner". By the way I was expecting a huge bill but I was pleasantly surprised with the final cost of parts and labor. Highly recommend! Honest and reliable service!! Very different than any other place we have ever gone to! Dave and his team are so knowledgeable and professional above and beyond!!! Prices are fair and they show you what is important to fix and what can wait! Also, only time I have ever gone to have a car repair done and not have my car come back smelling like smoke! They are wonderful!!

I want to update my review from just saying I appreciate the attention to detail and the friendly service to adding that they always either give me a ride home or give me a loaner car. On my last experience it took a few days to get the car in order, but Dave kept me informed and up to date on the progress. I had a loaner car as well. They also have excellent warranties and keep track of them even if the customer can’t. I really like working with Ulmer’s Deer Park. They are awesome!

Dave contacted me by text to send photos of the damaged tires from dry rot, a picture of the air filter and explain what needed to be done to be road worthy. Then he telephoned me to ask what I wanted to do about the tires, gave me two choices for a new set. He told me how much everything would cost, but did not charge me to clean out the windshield wiper lines. I was impressed with their service and Andrew even picked me up at my home when the services were completed. I will definitely use them again and refer friends and family to your auto care center.

Scheduled online over the weekend and they got me in ahead of my appointment time— a whole day early! Went in to register my car’s battery (computer reset after I installed a new battery myself). Called Dave right at 7 AM and, first time ever being their customer, they were honest about needing to verify that they could work on my European car, named the rough price, named what made it a complicated issue, told me they could give me a referral if they couldn’t help. Called me back by 8:15 AM with a plan. Got me in and out same day, great e-mail + text + phone call & voicemail communication. I’ll be back.

Once again Ulmer's Auto care has given me exceptional service with no added mumbo jumbo or inflated costs. So convenient for my busy schedule with convenient drop off and pick up with my invoice emailed to me so I could pay online. Great followup as well. Better than the dealership any day! From the thorough inspection (texted to us complete with pictures) to a hand written card thanking us for our business. Dave is so kind and made sure our car is ready to go to Florida. I was probably like a lot of people when I came to car care: driving my car until something breaks and then scrambling to get it fixed. My wife, on the other hand is a fierce proponent of just taking her car to the dealership for service. In 2020 I found a car that I really like and began thinking about how to extend the life of the thing by --I know this sounds novel-- doing preventative maintenance. I knew Ulmer's had a good reputation so when I came time to have my brakes replaced I gave them a shot. Great experience. Shortly thereafter I stopped in for new tires. Another great experience. So when it came time to get major deferred maintenance done on my car, it seemed right to stick with Ulmer's. Their pricing is fair, they have to car done when they say they'll have it done, and they ever give you a courtesy car to drive while they work on your car. I hope they're around for a long time!

I felt Dave was very knowledgeable and honest about my old vehicle. Although they found what (I thought) was the issue, my biggest problem was something completely different. I appreciate how they didn't charge me for that assessment.They run a nice clean ship. And from what I could see from the office they have high quality techs who work together and get along great.
