I rarely write reviews, but I couldn't let my experience with Ulmer's Auto Care go without sharing it.My car needed a new battery, and I dropped it off confident that Dave and the crew would take care of it and I'd be able to pick it up as soon as possible. Since the battery was backordered, Ulmer's generously gave me a loaner car to use while I waited, and they allowed me to keep it while they worked through the issues with my car.Long story short, what should have been a simple repair turned into about a month and a half of unexpected issues that no one could have predicted. Throughout it all, I was amazed by how calm and reassuring Dave was. The team spent countless hours working on my car, stayed late more than once trying to figure out the problem, and kept me updated every step of the way.It's easy to provide good service when everything goes according to plan. What really says something about a business is how they handle the unexpected, and Ulmer's handled this with incredible professionalism and care. If you're looking for an honest and knowledgeable auto shop, I highly recommend Dave and the entire Ulmer's team.

Upset that I haven’t been coming here longer. The staff is always friendly and honest and pricing is more than fair. They always give you options and details on recommended maintenance, not stuff that you don’t need. Extremely impressed with the professionalism and courtesy this shop offers. I’ll never go anywhere else for any vehicle maintaining or repairs.

The other gentleman I did not get his name, he helped me when I returned to pick my vehicle up, Dave was on another call, but finished niece he was done.The price of an oil change is overall a lot, but it’s a little cheaper than going to the dealer.I will be returning in the future for additional work.

Everyone at Bud’s is amazing. I would highly recommend Bud’s to anyone and everyone. We had an issue with my wife’s van, they said they were busy but they would try to take a look. They got me in the same day and made all the repairs by the next day it was absolutely amazing, and they were all super friendly and easy to work with. Thanks again for all your help guys!

I wouldn't have gone here if I didn't hear good things about the place. I needed some maintenance done on my car and I had an issue with my muffler. Instead of trying to sell me a brand new one they replaced the gasket and saved me money. You guys have my return business, and your hometown local as a matter of fact, in my neighborhood. The synthetic blend oil change for $79.95 with the bumper to bumper inspection is a great deal, I've seen oil changes alone for that price.

Old fashioned honest service! I've been dealing with one particular mechanic for a long time, but given all the modern tech packed into new cars, he's limited in what he can do. A friend referred me to Ulmer's and from start to finish, I felt like I was a part of the process, not just a subject of it. Dave took his time in exploring and explaining the issues and repaired them for fair price. It's important for me to have my daughter in a safe vehicle and Ulmer's understood that. They're my repair shop of choice going forward. Thanks team!!!!

I brought my car into Ulmer's for the first time and will definitely be returning in the future. They took the time to explain exactly what they were recommending and why they were recommending it. They also provided a courtesy vehicle that saved me from either having to call off work or spend an extra couple hundred dollars on a rental. Thanks, again, guys!*Update: June 2026. I am still a happy Ulmer's customer! Not only do they always do a great job, but they have gone out of their way to give great customer service, including finding a way to fit me in to patch my tire when I had a puncture in the afternoon of December 23rd before they were going to be off for multiple days.

Yet again Ulmer's Auto care has given me exceptional service with no added mumbo jumbo or inflated costs. So convenient for my busy schedule with convenient drop off and pick up with my invoice emailed to me so I could pay online. Great followup as well. Better than the dealership any day! Very thorough inspection and great prices. My vehicles will not go anywhere else! Tell your family and friends this is the place for all your vehicle needs. I'm a lifetime customer and try to send someone new their way daily.

Took my car in for brake repairs and turned out they still had a lot of life left, just had rust on them. Most places would gave gone ahead and charged me for new brakes but they did not. I will definitely be using them in the future.

OMG...I was so grateful and pleased with the respect, kindness and awesome service that I received from Deer Park Ulmer's and Dave.After leasing for over 20 years, decided to buy and was very leary being a single, senior female who knows nothing about cars. I was so thankful for the honesty, courtesy and care taken to make my car drive like new plus I had a "free loaner". By the way I was expecting a huge bill but I was pleasantly surprised with the final cost of parts and labor. Highly recommend! Honest and reliable service!! Very different than any other place we have ever gone to! Dave and his team are so knowledgeable and professional above and beyond!!! Prices are fair and they show you what is important to fix and what can wait! Also, only time I have ever gone to have a car repair done and not have my car come back smelling like smoke!
