I would and have recommend Ulmers in Florence KY to my family and close friends. They were very kind and didn't hesitate to explain in detail what was wrong with my car and what was needed to repair my car. I asked a lot of questions because I am not sure what was going on. They made a promise to me that they would do everything possible to make sure my car is running great and safe. I feel very comfortable with the outcome. I drive over 2 hour to have Ulmers work on my car. My son now takes his vehicle's to Ulmers after seeing how well they treated his mom.

This was my second time going to this shop for an oil change and has been by far the best shop I’ve ever been to! Very friendly staff! Great customer service! And was not hounding me on getting other services on my car while I was there! I would recommend them to everyone!

We were stranded, hours away from home, with a dead alternator. Ulmer’s squeezed us into their schedule the same morning I contacted them, and completed the replacement in record time to get us back on the road. We really appreciate all they did for us.

I received a coupon in the mail and I actually had never been to Ulmer’s Auto Care l, but it was close to my house in Florence, KY, and I needed an oil change. When I called, I was trying to get an appointment that day because I was off work, however, they did not have an appointment available, but then they said that they could actually squeeze me in! I was so appreciative of them for doing this. With my oil change, I received a very comprehensive report of an inspection done on my car, that comes free with the service. Along with the report were photographs of each area of my car complete with written recommendations of upcoming services, or areas that did not need attention. This is not a- drive-in, sit in your car while they do your oil change, and then leave in 10 minutes- service. It is a full service oil change along with a vehicle inspection report that they will send to you through text message once finished. Individuals that worked there were very friendly, pleasant, and professional. I was very satisfied with Ulmer’s and I will definitely be coming back! I highly recommend trying this place out!

I was looking for a reliable service center to look at my grandsons car as it had some service lights on. I brought it into Ulmers and they were very thorough finding the issues. They took care of multiple problems and kept me informed every step of the way. If you are looking for a reliable shop with fair pricing then give them a try! I really appreciate the friendliness, honesty, and affordability at Ulmer’s. I brought my vehicle in for an oil change and asked if at 60,000 miles they recommended any other services. After going through a full car inspection, they recommended not to do anything because the fluid inspections all came out really clean. They SAVED me over $1000 had I gone to the dealership. I believe I have found a new place to bring our vehicles for future service needs.

Transmission died on trip from Toledo OH to Florida. Ulmer's was the only shop in town that could squeeze us in the next day. The rest said it would be a couple weeks. They even gave us a ride to the car rental.

Excellent Service Experience!I recently had my Mazda CX-5 Carbon Edition in for a new alternator and battery. The car runs perfectly now — smooth, quiet, and starting up strong. Was told I needed a replacement transmission at ulmer's. Got a second opinion and for a little over $200 it was fixed and shifts like new. I have received a call asking about my experience and a card thanking me for my business. If this company wishes to contact me again please send a refund check for the diagnostic. I received a call yesterday and it was very pleasant to hear they made a refund to my card. It's nice to know there are honest repair shops. Thank you.

I just bought a car from Tom Gill for a low price in cash knowing it needs work. I used a coupon in the Reach Magazine or something similar for a bumper to bumper check. They pointed out the repair and cost. There was No pressure to have it fixed right away which I appreciated having just paid for the vehicle. I will definitely use their business for repairs in the future and highly recommend Ulmers!!!

Only gave 4 stars because I didn’t actually get anything repaired. I was having transmission problems and dropped it off on a Sunday evening. They were able to look at it and called me Tuesday morning. I needed a new transmission. After my shock wore off I called Subaru and of course they wanted to check it out. They looked at the quote that Ulmers gave me and agreed with the findings and said most of the issues would be covered under a warranty extension that I wasn’t aware of. I was apprehensive about calling Ulmers to explain but they were very understanding. Also, the quote they gave me was less than 2 other places I called for a price. I would definitely recommend and if I need to I’ll be back.

I brought my truck in to have the transmission checked and it was determined that it needed to be replaced. Fortunately I had an extended warranty, which was a difficult company to work with. Finally after a month of waiting for the warranty company to send the replacement transmission Frank and his team had me going in a day and a half. They are very good to work with especially trying to deal with the warranty company. A well run automotive shop.

My husband and I flew back home from a vacation to to our car not starting. Not a great start to the day after a red eye from Vegas. Got a tow to the nearest auto repair garage, which was this one. It was a Monday and it was busy, but knowing we were from out of town and stuck until we got our car fixed, they helped us out. What we thought was an alternator issue was actually cracks in a couple of the pistons in the engine. Big expense. They gave us a diagnostic report & let us take the time to figure out what we were going to do since we aren’t from the area. Really appreciate their consideration of our situation and the diagnosis of the problem with our engine. Would come here for any issues if we lived closer, so I figure leaving a positive review for future customers would be a good alternative. We appreciated the friendly service and the help.

The estimate quoted for repair was even less upon replacing the transmission. They also did a follow up to check done and to change my oil and check all fluids. Frank really treated me great here. Had my car towed from the Infiniti dealer who wanted to charge me over $10,000 for a new transmission. After running their own diagnostics, Ulmer's gave me the news they my only problem was a broken wire. Total cost around $300. I love this place!

I was a difficult case. I initially made an appointment correctly but then since my car was not mobile I had to cancel in order to find a way to get it there at a later time. I then attempted to make another appointment and due to my own inconsistencies was unable to do so but thought that I had done it correctly. My car showed up there without an appointment and they were gracious enough to get me worked in and get my problem taken care of as quickly as they possibly could. I had a severe fuel leak and needed it repaired desperately. They made it work and they were easy to talk to. Thank you guys.

They did great work. I originally took my car up there for a transmission check and added more work and these guys came through and then some. They gave me there honest and professional advice and a break down of my cars problems. Turned out to be nothing major so I chose not to get the parts fixed at this time, but for any future repairs I would definitely trust them to do the work.

I had gotten an estimate for another garage before going to transmission pros. The other place told me my clutch and transmission were bad with a quote of $7,500.00. Transmission Pros replaced my clutch and my transmission was checked and it was fine. My bill was only $2,200.00. I will never go to the other place again. The employees at Transmission Pros were knowledgeable and friendly. My advise to you don't waste your time going to some place else. Go to Transmission Pros where you are treated fairly and they actually know about cars.

I don’t typically leave reviews, but I felt compelled to do so after Ulmer’s took such great care of me and my Audi A6. They had every opportunity to sell me new brakes to the tune of $1k+, but were quick to tell me my breaks still had life in them. Their inspection report was very thorough and the overall transparency they exhibited was very refreshing in an industry which sometimes unfortunately tends to lack such quality. I have zero reason or intention to bring my vehicles elsewhere in the future, and was quick to tell my family that this is to only place to go. I sincere “thank you” to Ulmer’s.
