I was just passing through when my alternator went out. I pulled up to the first shop I saw and I must say, I am very glad it was Ulmer's! They were able to square me in without having an appointment. The gentlemen here were so kind and accommodating, they gave my children each a plushy and some ice cream. And I was very impressed with their sense of urgency, this was seriously the fastest repair I've ever gotten done before. I highly recommend Ulmer's to anyone in need.

My daughter and I had the privilege of having this team of mechanics at Ulmer’s in Florence KY take amazingly quality, expert and friendly care of us and her 2016 Jeep Patriot when the throttle body went out on a road trip at 2:00am. From the phone call with Frank to walking in and having them expect us to the thorough examination of the care through a diagnostic, test drive, visual on the lifts and showing us pictures of what they were seeing we were cared for so warmly and confidently. They told us the problem, including a dry rotted serpentine belt that wasn’t as urgent but they OFFERED to fix it if we wanted it replaced.They gave us their opinion of the process and patiently answered our questions so that we could make the decision best for us.Among getting the car fixed properly, they were also concerned about getting us back on the road as quickly as possible. It only took about 2.5 hours for them to repair it. The total cost was under 1.200.00.While we waited they made us completely comfortable in the waiting area even telling what was within walking distance for us to grab a bite to eat.Wayne and the other man were so pleasant and friendly. They never had the distant attitude of many mechanics. You know the one that makes you feel like you are irritating them by just showing up at their establishment. I cannot recommend them enough! If I could give 10 stars, I would. Truely a respectful and quality team of mechanics.

My daughter and I were out of state when her 2016 Jeep Patriot went into limp mode on I71 at 2:00am. We did a google search the next morning and called Ulmer’s in Florence just to get some guidance on where to take it. Frank’s friendly and transparent help gave us the confidence to limp the car to them. From the moment we walked through the door, we were taken care of and treated as a friend. They were expecting us and immediately did a diagnostic, drove it, and put it on the ramps to confirm the diagnostic then came back with pictures on an iPad to show us what they saw and explained that the throttle body needed to be replaced and the serpentine belt was dry rotted but wasn’t as urgent.They gave us their opinion of the process but never made us feel like we didn’t have a choice. On the contrary, they helped us to feel confident in the decisions we made in fixing the car.It only took about 2.5 hours for them to repair it. Driving to Ohio from Alabama my daughter’s 2016 Jeep Patriot went into limp mode leaving us going 40 mph tops on I71. It was 2:00am. We limped it to a travel center and slept until morning. We did a google search and called Ulmer’s just to get some guidance on where to take it. Frank was so helpful over the phone and transparent on how much it would cost to check it out for us that we decided to limp it 7 miles to their shop. They man in the office knew who we were when we arrived because Frank told him to expect us. They straight away ran a diagnostic on it, test drove it and put it on the ramps to confirm the diagnostic. I have had to go to Ulmer’s twice now for patching two different tires. They have been great! They are super friendly, super quick and fairly priced. They have also fit me in around my schedule pretty well. Also conveniently located 10 mins from my home which is a huge plus.

I will definitely be going back to get my car serviced again. This is is the first shop I've been to where I got to see where they did an inspection and whether or not if something needed attention. The detailed inspection report with photos clearly showed the issues — I’ve never had that level of clarity about what needed to be repaired. I would and have recommend Ulmers in Florence KY to my family and close friends. They were very kind and didn't hesitate to explain in detail what was wrong with my car and what was needed to repair my car. I asked a lot of questions because I am not sure what was going on. They made a promise to me that they would do everything possible to make sure my car is running great and safe. I feel very comfortable with the outcome. I drive over 2 hour to have Ulmers work on my car. My son now takes his vehicle's to Ulmers after seeing how well they treated his mom.
