Ulmer’s Auto Care is a full-service shop for electric vehicle (EV) repairs. Our technicians are certified to work on all makes and models of EVs. We have the experience and knowledge necessary to get your EV back on the road quickly. We’re also the only electric car maintenance shop in the area to offer a four-year/50,000-mile warranty on all service work.
What to Expect
We want to make the process of bringing your EV in for service as easy as possible.
Drive your EV in for service at our shop any time during our regular business hours. If you have any old or non-functioning parts, simply bring them with you when you come in. If you don’t have any parts, that’s fine, too. We’ll make sure you have everything you need to get your EV back on the road.
When you drop off your vehicle, we’ll work with you to determine a completion time that’s convenient for you. We’ll also provide free local transportation to and from your home or business so you can get back to your normal routine.
Once your EV is in our shop, we’ll do our best to have it ready on time. We’ll have a technician contact you when your vehicle is ready, so you can come and get it.
Four-Year/50,000-Mile Warranty
When you bring your vehicle into our EV repair shop for service, you’ll receive a four-year/50,000-mile warranty on parts and labor. This warranty is good for four years or 50,000/miles from the date of the service — whichever comes first. So, if your EV has a problem within a four-year or 50,000-mile period, we’ll fix it for free if the problem is related to the service we provide.
To ensure this warranty works in your favor, we ask that you not do work on your own EV. Please contact us if you have any questions about what is and isn’t possible to service.

We’re a full-service shop, so we can do everything from basic service, oil changes, and brake repairs to full engine rebuilds.
We’re also a Tesla-certified electric car repair shop. This means we have the training and experience to work on all Tesla vehicles and their components. You can bring your Tesla Model S or X to us for service, and we’ll work with Tesla to get you back on the road as quickly as possible.
