Came in for an AC recharge. First time visiting and was very impressed with the thoroughness, both in full breakdown of service checks via website link and by the servicer when I went to pick up the carUpdate following the service: the AC went out again and Ulmer's offered another full diagnostic check free of charge. I had Ulmer's do a pre-purchase inspection on a 2019 Volvo XC40 I was considering, and they were thorough in exactly the way you'd want. They found repainted panels and a front bumper that wasn't seated properly — none of which showed up on a clean Carfax. The report came with photos of every finding, plus a full module scan. When I asked them to add alignment readings to rule out structural damage, they did it the same day and walked me through what the numbers meant. Jeremy was straightforward throughout and made sure the report came to me rather than the dealer. Money well spent.

I've been coming to Ulmer's ever since I bought my first car. The crew there are always friendly and helpful, and get my car up and running again quickly and at reasonable prices. They recently fixed an issue with the throttle, which I initially believed was a transmission problem. If your car has problems or overdue routine maintenance, Ulmer's is the place to go.

We have used Ulmer's Auto for many years (35+) -- back to when they only had one shop on Salem Rd. They are honest, efficient, effective, knowledgeable and friendly. Brian does take after his father which is very positive and therefore is a very good owner. His staff is first class and they have super memories, of course, their computer systems helps them.

I always love going to ulmer’s. The technicians, office staff, and managers are always so helpful. It’s nice having a shuttle to and from, and having everything ready to go at pickup. In this instance, they called to tell me I didn’t actually need a repair they thought I did - a rare thing in this industry, which saved me $800! I also got a super sweet “Cincy” hat and my daughter got a super soft teddy bear with a bumper to bumper service.Thanks Ulmer’s for being a great shop!

I’ve taking my cars to Ulmers for over 10 years, and I have no plans to look elsewhere. Ulmer’s customer care is second to none.Are they the cheapest? Probably not, here’s the thing: they’re a LOT cheaper than the dealership, and the value they provide for me is worth it! Customer for almost 15 years now - they can usually get a service booked so quickly and are efficient getting car back out of the shop for you. Clear communication throughout the work being done letting us know what the car might need and when it might be ready. As a woman I especially value that I have never felt taken advantage of/up-sold like at other car repair places. I trust the recommendations they have had for our cars. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Ulmer’s had my car when I became sick and spent 8 days in the hospital. They told me not to worry about the car and to just get well. The day I got home. Steve drove my car himself to my home, followed by their shuttle to deliver it since I was too weak to drive. They go out of their way to be kind and treat people right!

Came in for a check engine light that had been a bother for a few weeks. Check in was easy, you can get an appointment online; I arrived and boom the truck was in. The promised at least an explanation by the end of day and they delivered. They were able to send me the report, about the report. They promised a like 100, it was more, point inspection my report online presented all findings in a circle chart showing what needed to be fixed, what is a fix soon, and what was checked as OK. There is also a list of the things they check. Each thing that needed attention came with pictures that, when I reviewed, showed me that the things they said were faulty were in fact faulty so I didn't have to take their word for it, which I would have known what I know now. They did a topnotch job looking at the whole system once they had an idea of where the issues were. The service is awesome. I found them polite, not pushy, when I said "hey I can only pay for these services, they were cool" and gave me a list for repairs later (I just bought a used 2015 trucks so there were some demons to iron out). I loved their system and the manager/owner/I don't know even invited my daughter to grab one of the rocks that his wife paints for fun so, will become my family's only mechanic.
